"After losing some weight I decided that I needed to do exercise so I joined a gym. After a couple of years I made a decision and thought that getting a personal trainer would be a great idea - it was. I met Kevin through my local gym - he takes aqua fit classes there. After speaking to him I asked him if I could book some PT sessions. This was done! He listened to what I wanted to achieve and got back to me with a booking of 10 weeks PT sessions once per week and an exercise plan for each day, including rest days! I really enjoyed those 10 weeks - it was really hard work. He has also given me a couple of plans for training at home which I still use. Some sessions were even outdoors - which were a challenge. Once the 10 week block was finished I carried on with PT sessions. Kevin has really helped me realise what I can achieve. Now that he knows me he knows how far to push me and then he pushes me bit further and doesn't take "no" for an answer. He also knows when I can't do anymore! The sessions pass really quickly and I sometimes feel that for a lot of the time we are laughing although working incredibly hard. I have seen some trainers shouting and yelling - which for me is not good. Kevin has never shouted but encourages me by telling me that I can do it. I have lost even more weight and am now fitter than I have ever been in my life despite have asthma. Because of the sessions and continuing to go to the gym I can do more than I have ever been able to do - including running for the bus and not feeling out of breath. I look forward to having more PT sessions and seeing how much more weight I can lose and how much fitter I can become.
